1. Roomba iRobot i3+ from iRobot EVO
The i3+ EVO is similar to its sibling i3 EVO. They differ only in the fact that the i3+ has self-emptying capabilities. This makes the i3+ a great choice for people who want an automated, hands-free cleaning experience but don't mind taking the time to empty their robot's trash bin as it gets full.
Both robots are adept at picking up surface debris off carpets and hard floors and they're excellent in maneuvering around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software makes smart maps of your home, which help the i3+ EVO to navigate and clean in a manner that maximizes efficiency. However, unlike the i7+ and other top-rated robots we tested the i3+ doesn't have any obstacle-avoidance features and therefore it could get stuck on things like socks or power cords and it may have trouble traversing transitions across surfaces, such as from hardwood to carpet.
iRobot suggests that you clear areas in which the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, including putting away any clutter or toys it may come across. It's also a good idea to keep the dust bin and filter clean so that they don't become clogged with dirt. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is empty or the battery is not fully charged, it returns to the docking station, and it automatically empties the dirt into the station's dust bin. It then continues cleaning where it left off. The i3+ EVO's battery lasts for approximately an hour and a half of continuous use. It takes about three hours to fully recharge.
2. Roomba by iRobot
The iRobot i7+ is a top model from iRobot’s flagship line and comes with the latest technology. It is self-charging and self-navigating. However, the most important feature is its auto-emptying bin. smart vacuum cleaner will eliminate the need for routine maintenance.
The Roomba i7+ can remember up to 10 floor plans and their names thanks to Imprint Smart Mapping, a system that lets it create maps of rooms so that it can clean them more efficiently. In our testing the i7+ performed more agile and faster than our runner-up and the eufy RoboVac G30, and it took large pieces of pet hair from all surface kinds including carpeting. The biggest advantage over the Eufy is its self-emptying bin that removes major maintenance sources and reduces the cost of maintenance.
We were also awestruck by the i7+'s integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services that we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning sessions and move around the room, and even vacuum a specific space. robotic vacuum cleaner on sale made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. Once connected to these services, we were able communicate with the i7+ using voice commands such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." In a world of vacuums with cords that look like minivans or buses, this small Dyson model feels like an old-fashioned sports car. It's powerful enough to replace a stand-up vacuum in most homes, yet it is also small enough to fit on a bookcase or coffee table.
The V10 is powered by a seven-cell, high-energy lithium-ion battery that can provide energy that is not faded for 60 minutes. Its advanced whole-machine filter system traps allergens and releases clean air back into your home. Its specialized head uses stiff nylon bristles to drive deep into carpets and collect large particles or fine dust. It comes with three suction modes that can be adapted to suit the task. It swiftly switches from floor vac to handheld vacuum and back.
This model also has docks that charge to 100% in about 3.5 hours and offers easy access to two attachments and an clip for a wand. This is a significant improvement over older Dysons that require a long charge and are difficult to store.
The biggest issue with the V10 is its sluggish run time. As CR's tests show, its marketing claims of up to 60 minutes are misleading. This is a common battery-powered vacuum's run time. This is still enough to clean most of a home that's average size, but not quite long enough to clean every area (though an additional run-through often will suffice). That's not to say this model isn't a good choice It's lighter and more agile than older cordless Dysons and its vacuuming performance is significantly superior on carpets with a low pile.
4. iRobot Roomba 694
One of the most well-known robot vacuums the 694 is an affordable model that's an excellent choice for people who don't want to spend too much on a robotic. It's capable of sucking up a variety of debris types and sizes during our tests, and frequently goes over the same areas multiple times to get a really thorough clean. Its flat front side helps it reach into corners and along the walls' edges, which is a nice touch.
Its smart navigation system uses iAdapt to avoid obstacles and navigate around your home, but it isn't equipped with the mapping capability of more advanced models like our top picks, the i3+ EVO and the j7+ series. It may get stuck on phone cords or low furniture and often runs out of power before returning to its original location.
The Xiaomi Mi robot is superior in many ways over the Roomba 694 because it has fewer parts that require regular cleaning, comes with an allergen-trapping HEPA filtering system, incurs lower costs for recurring expenses, is more sophisticated in its automation capabilities and is better able to navigate itself. It also has a larger dustbin and charges faster.
The sleek RoboVac X8 has a superior battery life than the Roomba 694. It also has physical boundaries strips that can be controlled by your smartphone's voice assistance. It's also more durable, has a stronger motor, and can perform better on floors with bare or low-pile.
5. Samsung Jet Bot AI+
Samsung is a name that is found on all kinds of home electronics It's no surprise that they're also one of the most popular mop and robot vacuum manufacturers. Their Jet Bot AI+ is loaded with cutting-edge onboard intelligence tech for navigation and obstacle avoidance.
The app gives you plenty of options to customize your robotic cleaner, including virtual barriers, mopping water levels and behavior customization, docking frequency settings, and more. The app is easy to navigate and use similar to other Samsung devices.
In our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ performed well on hard floors. It removed 86% of dog hair (on carpet). It did not do well in avoiding taller objects like socks or cords. This was disappointing. It's also a bit more expensive than some of the other models we tried, which might be a problem for certain shoppers.
The app lets you access the camera onboard of the smart vacuum. You can also set up live streaming from the robot's cleaning area. This feature lets you monitor your pets or kids when you're away from home. The dustbin and filter can be washed for quick, easy cleanup. The Jet Bot AI+ comes with self-emptying clean stations, which helps to keep the bin clean and improves suction power.

The app also makes it simple to steer the robot manually if needed. For instance, my living room rug has a darkly-colored border that has a tendency to trip up some of the other robots I've tested. However the HRV 425BL continued to move across the border without registering it as an incline. The ability to program a daily cleaning schedule for each week is a time-saving advantage.
